Jess Feehely

Jess is the Principal Lawyer at the Environmental Defenders Office in Tasmania. Previously, Jess has worked as Solicitor, Planning and Environment at Allens Arthur Robinson in Brisbane and as Legal Officer at the Wantok Environment Centre in Vanuatu.

She has experience in a range of environmental and planning law matters, with a particular interest in coastal management, climate change issues and strategic planning.

Jess is currently Deputy Chair of the Law Council of Australia’s Environment and Planning Law Group and Vice-President of the National Environmental Law Association. She is editor of the Australian Environmental Law Digest, editor of the Tasmanian planning casenote service, The RMPAT Bulletin, and a member of the editorial panel of the Australian Environment Review.

She has an LLB (First Class Hons) and BSc (Environmental Science) from Griffith University.
